Anonymous asked: I have a very monotone voice kind of like yours. Do many people comment on the tone of your voice?
Yes, when your voice is extremely attractive, everyone comments on it.

kaykaymikay asked: how tall are you?! i picture you decently tall, because i remember in one of you vlogs you were like "i talked to this cute short girl today in the bookstore" so i was wondering ever since then.. :)
I’m 5’7, so I’m not super tall by any means, but I’m tall enough to be taller than most girls, so it works out, lol.

Anonymous asked: Crendor, what video program do you use? i've been curious for a while now and i've always loved your videos! me and my friend were going to meet you once but you never showed, we were really bummed, i dont know it was a long time ago, and i was wondering about the recording equipment because i see you talk without any HUD and i was wondering how you got rid of the HUD, and i just think it's a cool way to do things and by the way when i said me and my friend were going to meet you i meant in wow.
Fraps. Fraps is used by most big content producers because it gives you the highest quality video files, and is simple to use. I get complaints of people lagging while frapsing, or saying the files are too big, but that’s what Fraps is. If you’re serious about video production, then you need a computer that can record with it.
I also don’t know what you mean about meeting me, lol. The only times I’ve met fans was at Blizzcon and my last time in LA with Jesse and Dodger. I’m a socially anxious person, so I don’t go out of my way to meet people (not just fans, friends as well). It’s not because I don’t like people, but that I just get emotionally drained easily. On top of that, I’m not very talkative in person unless I REALLY know someone, so mix that all together and hopefully you can understand. I appreciate all my fans, friends, family, etc. but I like to hope they all know that anyway.
I also just read that you meant in-game, in which case, you weren’t talking to me. One of the problems with getting to a certain size is people start to imitate or pretend to be you. If anyone tells you that they’re me, and that they’ll talk to you on Skype, in WoW, on Vent, or anything else, it’s not me, lol. Already being the socially anxious person I am, I only talk with close friends or business contacts on those things because I’m generally pretty busy. Most big Youtubers don’t have time to just chat to people all day, which is why we like to do things like livestreaming, podcasts, tweet, answer tumblr questions, etc. where we can interact pretty well with fans
You can get rid of the HUD with Alt+Z
randomkille asked: what is the best thing about Cox n' Crendor show?
Being able to just joke around for 30 minutes with Jesse. We generally would just do that on Skype and such anyway, so figured why not just record it and make it into a show? I actually listen to it in the morning too, even though I already know what’s going to happen. THAT’S HOW GOOD IT IS! Highest quality non-content around.
Anonymous asked: Hi Crendor, i don't have any questions actually, i just want to thank you for something, so days ago (or maybe weeks) i saw a link on youtube (i don't really know what is it name, sub-page ? sub-box ? but you know, the page where you see message like "WowCrendor liked this video") and it was a link of a Lindsey Stirling's video, and thank to you i discovered this fantastic artist, i now i'm a very huge fan of her work ! (sorry for my english, i'm French and i know i have to work it ^^)
Yup! Lindsey is awesome! When I first heard her music and saw how much she seemed to love playing her music, I had a feeling she was going to take off. I could sense how strong her passion was for her music, and it was pretty awesome; It made me have a nerd crush on her, lol.

Anonymous asked: Hi Crendor, I was wondering what business and marketing books or blogs you would recommend? Thanks! - Lofty
Gary Vaynerchuck’s “Thank You Economy” is a great marketing book. Seth Godin is another author with a lot of good marketing books, specifically “Purple Cow”. They’re two of the best marketing books I’ve read.
I just wanted to add that Jesse is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know. He’s extremely supportive and If I have anything to say about it, he’s a forever friend.
Okay that’s all.
Go home.
I disagree, I heard that guy eats babies and friendly, endangered banana sharks all while starving his house guests
vivacious--vixen asked: Do you ever get frustrated knowing that Jesse became "YouTube famous" quicker than you? I know I'm guilty of discovering him like, maybe a year and a half or even two years ago, and I JUST became a fan of yours a day or so before Thanksgiving. Jesse had more of an informative approach (Lore For Noobs is how I discovered him), while you were more comedy (Class Stereotypes was your first for me). I know voices are your "thing", but what if you had a different theme in the beginning?
lol, I’m not frustrated that Jesse became ‘Youtube famous’ faster than me. I think if you make videos for the purpose of getting famous, you’re making videos for the wrong reason. Nobody I know made videos for the sole purpose of getting famous.
Jesse does what he does, and he does it well, and is the same in his videos as he is IRL. He’s an awesome person, and I would want him to always be successful, no matter what happened with me. I consider voices only part of my image, the same way the engine is only part of a car; Without the other parts, it doesn’t matter.
As for if I should have had a different theme, I don’t think so. I make the videos I make because I enjoy them, and when someone is passionate about what they do, that’s what brings them ‘fame’. Sure there are people that get famous just because they know some famous person, but I would never want that anyway. Like I’ve said, I would be doing what I was doing even if I didn’t have ‘e-fame’
raswelsta asked: I don't know why but I have been racking my head the last week or so thinking - What is your retirement plan?
My retirement plan is to not have a retirement plan. People spend their entire lives thinking, “I’m going to work towards my retirement, when I can relax and have fun.” But really, by that time, you’re body is older, you’re sicker, run down, and you just get bored not doing anything all day. I’d rather have fun my whole life, always fighting for the chance to continue doing what I love; For me that’s writing, entertainment, comedy, etc.
I always wanted to do something that I’d want to do my entire life. I think if you are forced into retiring from what you love to do for medical reasons, or forced out in some other way, then I can understand, but retiring just to retire doesn’t make sense to me unless you’re at a job you hate, which most people tend to have happen sadly.
I plan on being that 90 year old guy still attempting to make people laugh with weird voices and having a hologram-brain ingrained chip advice show where you can get what I’m typing automatically downloaded to your brain. It’ll be great.
